Our goal is to contribute to a greener Earth by providing a legal means for companies and citizens of the Metro East, St. Louis, and surrounding areas to dispose of their electronic goods. Electronic recycling is the main way we accomplish that.
It’s important to the health of our community to keep those electronics out of landfills. When done responsibly, electronic scrap recycling prevents harmful chemicals from polluting our environment. We understand how vital it is to the Earth and to the people on it that we work to reduce pollutants and the environmental impact of mining for new materials. As such, we take our work seriously here at CJD E-Cycling, giving you complete peace of mind about where you’re dropping off your old electronics.
We turn as much electronic waste into new materials or refurbished goods as we can. See the list below for the devices you can get out of your basement and into our modern and efficient facility for recycling.
Electronic Items Eligible for Recycling Include:
- Computers
- Computer Accessories, including monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, & more.
- The fee for flat screen computer monitors ranges from $2.50-$5 depending on size and model.
- The fee for CRT computer monitors not accompanied by a tower ranges from $5-$10 depending on the size and model.
- TVs
- CRT, Console, Plasma, Flat Screen, and Projection TVs are accepted.
- The fee for TV recycling ranges from $5-$35 depending on size and model. The accepted payment methods are cash, check, or credit card. Credit cards are not accepted at on-site E-Waste Drives.
- Digital Converter Boxes, Cable Receivers, & Satellite Receivers
- Video Game Consoles
- Networking Equipment
- Accepted equipment includes servers, telecommunication equipment, phones, cell phones, clocks, fax machines, & scanners.
- Audio/Video Equipment
- VCRs, DVD players, stereos, digital video disc players/recorders, portable digital music players, cable/satellite boxes, etc.
